Extended Day at Bryn Mawr

The Extended Day Program runs from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The program is based in the Lower School Elementary and Administration Buildings. Girls may choose from a variety of activities such as outdoor play, arts and crafts, reading/homework time, table games and puzzles. A snack is provided.

Drop-in Care is available for Lower School families on a daily basis. Students may use the Extended Day Program on a drop-in basis with written notification or a phone call to the Lower School Office. The drop-in fee is $20.00 per hour (or part thereof).  If your child is coming from Music, Dance or Gateways Enrichment, the drop-in fee is $10.00.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Supervision is available for girls in Kindergarten. These girls will be supervised at no charge from 3:00–3:30 p.m. At 3:30pm, they will proceed to the 3:30pm carpool or to Extended Day.

LATE CARPOOL PICKUP: Girls who have not been picked up 20 minutes past their dismissal time will go to Extended Day and will be charged for drop-in care at $20 per hour (or part thereof)

LATE AFTERNOON PICKUP: After Extended Day ends at 5:30 p.m., the drop-in rate of $20.00 will be charged for every fifteen minutes beyond the 5:30 p.m. end time.

The Extended Day Program will operate on all days that school is in session except the day before that Winter Break begins and any other early dismissal (weather,PD days,etc.).
